Alliston

Alliston is a settlement in Simcoe County in the Canadian province of Ontario. It has been part of the Town of New Tecumseth since the 1991 amalgamation of Alliston and nearby villages of Beeton, Tottenham, and the Township of Tecumseth. The essential downtown zone is situated along Highway 89, referred to as Victoria Street. The town developed as a business community for the territory ranchers and was best known as a potato-developing region.

It is as yet a noteworthy industry in the town and is praised by the yearly Alliston Potato Festival.
