Adamson Estate
About Adamson Estate
The Adamson Estate, which shapes the eastern limit of the Port Credit neighborhood of Mississauga. It is currently an open stop on the Waterfront Trail. The arrive on which the property is assembled was procured by Joseph Cawthra in 1809.
One of the fortunes of the Adamson Estate are the immense eastern white pine, the common tree of Ontario, which stay on the site and are connections to the legacy of the Adamson/Cawthra families and that of the early improvement of Toronto Township, Peel County, now referred to a great extent as Mississauga, Region of Peel.Another component of intrigue is the family pet burial ground which has been as of late encompassed by a fashioned iron fence with stone columns and commemoration plaque.
