About Roman Baths
The Roman baths Thermae in Varna dating from the second 50% of II century, when there was a Roman town - Odessos. The showers existed until the finish of III century. The site has a territory of 7000 square meters and today is situated in the region between Varna roads "Khan Krum", "Tsar Kaloyan", "Knyaz Dondukov" and "Commander I rank Dobrev". The Roman Baths are a standout amongst the most significant landmarks of culture in Varna, arranged in the focal piece of the city, on the edge of the avenues San Stefano and Khan Krum.
This is one of the locales of the Archeological Museum in the city. There were likewise different premises in the showers, having an alternate capacity: a corridor for pouring with cool water frigidarium; for pouring with warm water tepidarium; for pouring with high temp water caldarium; restrooms; warming room praefurnium, and so forth.
