About Nebet Tepe

Nebet Tepe is one of the hills of Plovdiv where the old town was established. The most punctual settlements on Nebet Tepe are gone back to 4000 BC. The site was first settled by Thracians, later extended by Philip II of Macedon and the Roman domain. As the town extended, Nebet Tepe turned into the bastion of the town's acropolis.
