Battle of Varna Park Museum

This gallery denotes the site of one of the critical crossroads in European late-medieval history. At Varna in 1444, a Hungarian-Polish Christian Army was crushed by Sultan Murad II's Ottoman Army.

This offered a route to a few centuries of Turkish strength in the district, driving straight up to the late-nineteenth century.

The stop is set toward the west of Varna and its structures include a changeless display of fifteenth-century weapons and defensive layer grabbed from the outcome of the battle.

Take time to investigate whatever remains of the recreation center, in light of the fact that the city's sepulcher is here and in addition Thracian carts containing tombs from 4,000BC.
