About Third Bridge
The Deputy Darcy Castelo de Mendonca Bridge, colloquially known as the Third Bridge Portuguese: Terceira Ponte, is the second tallest bridge in Brazil, connecting the cities of Vila Velha and Vitoria in the state of Espirito Santo. Spreading over the mouth of Vitoria's sound, which has numerous different highlights, including the Penha Convent, Moreno's slope, cargo ships, coastline, islands and present day structures, the extension has turned out to be one of Espirito Santo's primary points of interest. Development started on the extension in 1978 and was finished and after 11 years on August 23, 1989.
