About The Bird Park
The Bird Park is a private park of Brazil established in 1994 and currently has seventeen hectares of local woodland, located near the Iguacu River Falls, in Foz do Iguacu, within the country of Parana. It has approximately 1,000 birds of 150 Brazilian species, further to different exceptional specimens, constituting itself as the most important chook park in Latin America. The large chook enclosures permit for close touch with extraordinary birds from all around the international. As stroll along the path, greeted by means of blue macaws, parrots and toucans that play freely. In every enclosure there are signs containing the species' clinical names and areas of foundation.
While encouraging love and know-how of all birds is the goal of this aviary, the park is also operating diligently to increase replica amongst some of the endangered species. The park hosts greater than 1000 birds from 150 species, a lot of them threatened by extinction. A lot of the animals are endemic from the Iguassu National Park and provide a rare display of chirping and colors. All animals displayed come from either zoos, breeders legal by using IBAMA Brazilian Institute of Natural Resources Protection, or from rehabilitation.
Witness uncommon and colourful birds fly within the big aviaries that have been built to blend in with the humid subtropical florest. Visitors are able to input those aviaries and look at the birds at close quarters. Now not best see birds, but additionally alligators, anacondas, pythons, marmosets and butterflies. The Bird Park was founded in 1994 by using Dennis and Anna Croukamp.
