About Piripiri
Piripiri, Piaui is a municipality within the kingdom of Piaui in the Northeast vicinity of Brazil. The city's populace numbered about 62,600 humans as of 2014. The municipality consists of part of the 1,592,550 hectares Serra da Ibiapaba Environmental Protection Area, created in 1996. The town foundation comes from ingrown land in a place known as "Botica" issued to Antonio Fernandes Macedo on January 20, 1777. Its basis goes back to an unknown date of the year 1844, while its proprietor, Father Domingos de Freitas e Silva, came in search of shelter, after preventing for independence of Piaui, constructed a house in a place referred to as Anajas, after which, subsequent, a chapel devoted to Our Lady of Remedies, which is the present day purchaser of the metropolis.
Then the priest went to live there along with his own family from agriculture and livestock. These two homes have been the simplest homes of Piripiri until 1855, when Father Domingos de Freitas e Silva decided to divide the lands in their assets in small batches, offering them to people who wanted to stay there. Shortly afterwards many households started out to arrive in Piripiri. In 1857, Piripiri started to have the advent of a village, and Father Domingos opened a small faculty. In this faculty he gave lessons of first letters and Latin for a long term. In 1860, he donated the chapel committed to Our Lady of Remedies.
