About Museum of Art and History of Arapongas
The Arapongas Art and History Museum is located in the city of Arapongas, in the northern state of Parana, Brazil. It was inaugurated on July 22, 2015 by the city hall and the secretary of Culture. Installed on the premises of the old railway station of the city, the museum is in an old historical building that housed the municipal administration, between 1955 and 2010.
The collection counts on regional works of art, through photos and documents that reveal the data of the city, since its founding in 1947. They also a part of the collection instruments that date back to time reconstruction of public spaces of the city, such as the cinema and the school in the region. For local artists and other regionsinterested in exhibiting their works, the venue also gives space for exhibitions. The museum is open from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
