Murcii is a municipality located in the west of the state of Brazil, Alagoas. Its population is 22,132 2005 and its area is 424 km. According to Waza magazine, despite receiving public public transfers, the city is still behind human development in most of the municipalities in Brazil. 30.6% of its residents are illiterate, and 65% rely on federal funds to survive, which contribute 0.58 HDI to slightly below 0.59 of Iraq. There are 61% 6,116 hectares 15,110 acres of Morici ecological station in the municipality, built in 2001.
T is the second smallest Brazilian state in the region larger than Sergipe only, and with Sergip it is sometimes called Brazilian Rhode Island. It is ranked 16th in the population. It is one of the largest producers of sugarcane and coconut in the country and has an economy based on cattle farming. Suror or Charu Musel, Lagoon Shellfish, which acts as a food for coastal population and coconut water. Alagoas also has some of the richest folk songs in the country.
