Memorial JK

The JK Memorial is a Brazilian historical center situated in the Civic-Administrative Zone of the Monumental Axis , in Brasilia , capital of Brazil. It was planned by Oscar Niemeyer , opened in 12 of September of 1981 and devoted to previous Brazilian President Juscelino Kubitschek organizer of the city of Brasilia . In the place, are the group of JK , different effects, similar to his own library, and photographs of him and in addition of his better half Sarah . It presents works composed by Athos Bulcão in its outer zone, a recolored glass window outlined by the craftsman Marianne Peretti on the morgue chamber and a 4.5 meter design by Honório Peçanha . The work was the question of brutal feedback from traditionalist areas, which found in the landmark reference to one of the images of socialism , belief system of the planner: sickle and sledge. The room is utilized for introductions of music, theater, addresses and choirs. It is made out of a piano of syrup and a lodge of sound and picture. Pictures of the previous president are anticipated on a board at the back of the room. What's more, 310 easy chairs scattered around the space shape the letter K , starting of the surname Kubitscheck.
