Macaubas

Macaubas is a municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East area of Brazil. Its populace in 2016 was 50 367 occupants. The district covers a zone of 3039 km². It lies in the call Physiographic Zone of the Serra Geral, the Chapada Diamantina Southern microregion.
