Itanhaem

Itanhaem is a municipality within the country of Sao Paulo in Brazil. It is a part of the Metropolitan Region of Baixada Santista. The populace is 96,222 in a place of 601.85 km². The elevation is 4 m. The name Itanhaem comes from the Tupi phrase ita-nha'e, meaning the plate of rock.Itanhaem become among the greatest excursion destinations within the State of Sao Paulo, inside the past due-1970s. Located inside the Southeastern Brazil, the region is surrounded by the tropical Atlantic Forest that shelters many tropical animals consisting of colourful birds named Saira and animals consisting of Oncas, Quatis and Sarues. The maximum famous beaches are those of Barra do Una, Carambore, Desertinha, Juquia, Paranapua, Brava, Guarau and Little Guarau ou Guarauzinho; they all very near Itanhaem.
