Hidrolandia

Hidrolandia is a municipality in imperative Goias country, Brazil. The population become 14,004 in a complete area of 944.2 km2. Hidrolandia is a large manufacturer of fowl and eggs. Hidrolandia is located 36 km. South of the country capital, Goiania on vital interstate motorway BR-153. It belongs to the Goiania Microregion, which contains greater than 1,000,000, 700,000 inhabitants. Considered the capital of the jaboticaba See Jaboticaba because of the exquisite quantity of jaboticaba trees within the area, Hidrolandia is likewise known as the city of waters.

The attention of springs, bathing spots and rivers within the vicinity gave the town this call. Hidrolandia started in 1895 when lands have been donated to construct a chapel committed to Santo Antonio. In 1896 it was accelerated to a district with the call Santo Antonio das Grimpas belonging to Pouso Alto, which later became Piracanjuba. In 1930 it have become a municipality with the call Hidrolandia, land of waters. With the construction of the new capital in Goiania it have become a part of that town with the call "Grimpas". In 1948 it became municipality with its present call.
