About Guajara Mirim
Guajara-Mirim is a municipality in Brazilian state of Rondonia. It is located at an altitude of 128 meters. Its population was 46,632 2015 and its area is 24,856 square kilometers. Guarra-Mirim is located along the Moopar River in the Bolivian frontier town of Guaramerin. It was once the southern terminus of the Estrada de Ferro Medeira-Moumere Madeira-Momere Railway, which was inaugurated in 1912. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Guamara-Mirim. The 22.540 hectares 55,700 acres in the municipality, the Tracodal Biological Reserve, is a strictly protected area, which was built in 1990.
It has 2.33% 535,150 acres of 216,568 hectares built in Guajira-Mirim State Park, 1990. This includes 46,438 hectares. Hectare 114,750 acres Rio Orio Proto Biological Reserve, built in 1990. It includes 73.45% of the 204,632 hectares 505,660 acres of Rio Orio Preto Extractive Reserve, which was also made in 1990. The municipality has 47.5% of the 146,400 hectares 362,000 acres. Rio Catario State Extra Reserve, built in 1995. It has 73,818 hectares 182,410 acres of Rio Cotario Federal Extractive Reserve, built in 2001.
