Gameleira

Gameleira is a municipality in Pernambuco, Brazil. The name Gameleira is derived from the huge wide variety of Gameleira trees family Moraceae that have been developing inside the vicinity. The town is 99 km away from Recife, the capital city of Pernambuco. Gameleira has a bus terminal, a public library, two nation schools and several municipal colleges. The district of Gameleira changed into created by means of Provincial Law 763, on July 11, 1867. It become then a part of the municipality of Sirinhaem.

In 1872, it became a village. In 1860, the Recife–Sao Francisco Railroad installed a station in Gameleira. Local sugarcane plantations used the railroad to move sugar to the port in Recife. The fundamental economic sports in Gameleira are based in agribusiness, specifically plantation of sugarcane; and creations of farm animals and buffalos. The American bison or truly bison, also usually known as the American buffalo or virtually buffalo, is a North American species of bison that once roamed North America in sizeable herds.
