Cultural Complex of the Republic

It is a social focus situated along the Eixo Monumental, in the city of Brasília, Brazil. It is framed by the National Library of Brasília and the National Museum of the Republic. The two structures were planned by Pritzker Prize-winning Brazilian designer Oscar Niemeyer and initiated in 2006. The National Library of Brasília "Biblioteca Nacional de Brasília" in Portuguese involves a zone of 14,000 square meters 150,000 sq ft, comprising of perusing and study rooms, assembly hall and an accumulation of more than 500,000 things.
