About Carlos Costa Pinto Museum
The Carlos Costa Pinto Museum sets aside guests back in opportunity to the regular daily existences of the privileged from Bahia's sugarcane-delivering days in the 1600s – 1800s.
Carlos Costa Pinto was a relative from one of Bahia's old, princely families and gathered pieces from hundreds of years past. When he passed away, his better half chose to give his gathering and introduced the gallery in his respect in 1969.
Housed in a chateau in the upscale neighborhood of Vitoria, the exhibition hall is home to pieces that show the lavish, wanton way of life of Bahia's privileged.
