Bom Jesus de Goias is a municipality in south Goias kingdom, Brazil. It is a huge producer of soybeans. In 1925 a neighborhood rancher, Dona Carolina Viera da Mota, donated lands to build a future settlement. In the equal year a chapel covered with palm fronds become constructed. Soon other houses have been constructed and the agreement turned into called Bom Jesus. In 1953 it became made a district of Goiatuba, turning into a municipality in 1963.
