About Bacanga State Park
The Bacanga State Park is a state park in the territory of Maranhao, Brazil. It ensures the fundamental water supply for the city of Sao Luis, the Batata repository. The recreation center's condition has been seriously corrupted through illicit occupation, logging, and evacuation of sand and junk dumping. The Bacanga State Park is the Sao Luis district of Maranhao. It has a region of 2,634 hectares. It is only south of the city of Sao Luis, and north of the Regiao de Maracana Environmental Protection Area, on the correct bank of the Bacanga River.
It lies between private zones with high statistic weight and the mechanical district. The zone encompassing the recreation center had a populace of 18,240 out of 1991 and 60,564 of every 2001. There is no cradle zone to forestall natural harm around the park. The park contains the remains of the Sitio do Fisico modern unpredictable, around 1,600 square meters of destroyed tanneries, heaters, tanks and warehouses. The Sitio do Fisico was one of the primary mechanical buildings of Maranhao in the mid-nineteenth century. The broad mangrove backwoods close-by gave the tannin used to tan leather. The Brazilian Institute of Cultural Heritage is associated with protecting the Sitio do Fisico.
