About Amadeu Botelho Ecological Reserve
The Amadeu Botelho Ecological Reserve covers a zone of 143 hectares and is found 2 km from the city of Jau, in the focal point of the State of São Paulo. The woodland shows all its excellence with mainstream trees, waterfalls, monkeys, squirrels, deer, reptiles and an enormous assortment of winged creatures, creepy crawlies and plants. On account of Mr. Carlos Amadeu de Arruda Botelho and his relatives the save has been kept up since the start of the most recent century and today offers trails for ecological training, investigation of fauna and verdure, research and ecotourism. It was changed into RPPN in the year 2000, which ensures its ceaseless conservation. The Reserve is a semi-deciduous timberland Atlantic woodland with awesome biodiversity.
