About National Botanical Garden
The National Botanical Garden is a 7-hectare park placed along the Notwane River three kilometres south-east of the metropolis center of Gaborone. The National Botanical Garden first opened on 2 November 2007 with the cause of defensive Botswana's heritage. The park is managed beneath the Natural History Division of the Botswana National Museum. It is the primary botanical garden in Botswana, housing indigenous plants from round Botswana. The lawn consists of six sections similar to six one of a kind ecological areas in Botswana.
The six areas and commonplace plants discovered in that region are. In addition to showing indigenous flowers, the park also is in rate of preserving botanical monuments across the countery. Like the morula tree in Gaborone under which the primary meeting of the Botswana Democratic Party turned into held. The Botswana Democratic Party is the governing birthday party in Botswana. Its chairman is the modern-day Vice-President of the Republic of Botswana, Slumber Tsogwane.
