Christ the King Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Gaborone, Botswana. It is the mom church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gaborone. The modern bishop is Valentine Tsamma Seane. Valentine Tsamma Seane is the previous bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gaborone on the Christ the King Cathedral in Gaborone, Botswana. He is the second Motswana to be a bishop in Botswana. Valentine Tsamma Seane became born in Lobatse, Botswana and turned into ordained a priest on 19 March 1994. Pope John Paul II visited the cathedral on 13 September 1988.
Pope John Paul II was the Pope of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 1978 to 2005. Mass is held Monday through Friday at 6:forty five am and 5:00 pm. Saturday Mass in at eight:30 pm in English, and Sunday Mass is held 3 instances: 7:30 am in English, 10:00 am in Setswana, and six:00 pm in English.
