About MAS Museum

It is a museum located along the river Scheldt in the Eilandje district of Antwerp, Belgium. It opened in May 2011 and is the largest museum in Antwerp.This is the largest museum in Antwerp and arguably the most visually arresting, MAS is a sight to view, with its numerous, stunned red sandstone levels rising 60m into the air.

This Museum is a trailblazing organization, an unquestionable requirement visit for every one of those keen on the past, present and fate of Antwerp as a noteworthy worldwide port. Helped to establish by Antwerp Port Authority in 2011, and the building is presently a city point of interest in its own particular right, a storage facility of history and workmanship, based on the site of the noteworthy Hansa House that remained here from 1564 onwards.

The building itself is formed like a pile of holders, however with every "compartment" being 6 meters high. Inside a progression of lifts spirals around entrance for nothing out of pocket with the glass dividers bearing amazing perspectives over the city, the stream, the old docklands and the cutting edge port.
