About Beersel Castle
This Castle is located in the Waterloo, Belgium and it has 3 huge watchtowers and is encompassed by a wide canal. Beersel Castle is arranged at a rise of 43 meters.
The stronghold was first specified in the twelfth century. The present post was developed by Godfrey of Hellebeek in the vicinity of 1300 and 1310 as a protective base for Brussels and it was harmed amid the war of progression of Brabant 1356-57, yet was repaired soon after that.
Amid the resistance to Maximilian of Austria, Beersel upheld Maximilian, and the mansion was attacked, taken and looted by the troops of Brussels in 1489. It was just mostly wrecked and was reestablished after the war.
