About Zabinka
Zhabinka it is a metropolis in the southwestern vicinity of Brest, Belarus. It is the place of work of the Zhabinka District. The population is 12,900. The call of the location was first noted in Russian official papers in 1817. In 1882 a railway station become built right here on the railway line that connected Warsaw, Brest and Moscow. It gave a powerful impetus to the improvement of the place. Within 2 decades it became from a village into a city, attracting people of trade, after the station boosted the financial improvement of the area. For 125 years the city has been sprawling alongside the road from the railway.

After World War II a big sugar refinery became constructed north of the railway line. A massive settlement regarded round it. Today Kirov Street begins shape the railway station, runs throughout the town middle with a massive rectangular and a park, further on southwards to the motorway.
