About Pruzhany
Pruzhany is a town in Brest Voblast, Belarus. Pruzhany is the center of a district in Brest Region, Belarus. Its population is about 18,500 people. The city is placed at the confluence of the Mukha River and the Vets Canal, which provide the start to Mukhavets River. Pruzhany has been referred to as Dabuchyn since 1487. In the 16th century, it belonged to queen Bona Sforza of Poland. She brought Renaissance have an impact on and improvement of trades in this part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In 1589, her daughter Anna granted a city charter and the coat of arms of Pruzhany a blue snake swallowing a baby on a silver shield.
The coat of palms turned into borrowed from that of the Sforza circle of relatives of Milan. Pruzhany was a middle of pottery alternate at the ones instances. In the mid-nineteenth century, a rich Polish landlord, Walenty Szwykowski, laid out a park and constructed a pretentious palace that houses a museum nowadays, after a recovery. The museum has a wealthy collection at the records and humanities of the location.
