About Holy Spirit Cathedral

The other relic of the sanctuary is enduring relics of St. Sofia of Slutsk, a fabulous little girl of Anastasia of Sluck. The Holy Spirit Cathedral is a historical church and was working in the Baroque style which was made in 1633-1642, as the principal sanctuary of Catholic Bernadine cloister. Amid the 1700-1800s it was recreated to the present engineering shape. In 1852 the religious community was shut, and its nuns were sent to Nesvizh town. In I860 the previous ascetic church was transformed into the universal church.

Ten years a conventional religious community was opened here. In 1918, after the end of the religious community, the building was utilized for different purposes: as a games corridor, a travel jail for the confiscated workers. The administrations were restored amid World War II, in 1943. The most profitable relic is pondering working symbol of Mother of God found in 1500.
