About Dubrovna
Dubrowna or Dubrovno is a small city at the Dnieper River. The toponym originates from a Proto-Slavic time period for an okayforest, which might also give an explanation for the inclusion of o.K.Leaves and acorns in the town's coat of hands. Dubroŭna is the administrative centre of the Dubrouna Raion of the Vitebsk Voblast in northern Belarus. In the nineteenth century Dubrouna changed into a centre for weaving.
