About Church of Saints Simon and Helena

Its development was financed by Edward Woynillowicz 1847-1928, an unmistakable Belarusian-Polish landowner, specialist and urban dissident.
The blocks for its dividers were sourced from Czestochowa, while the rooftop tiles originated from Wloclawek.
The congregation was named and sanctified in memory of Woynillowicz's two expired kids, Szymon and Helena.
In 1990, the building was returned to the Catholic Church.
Starting now and into the foreseeable future it was overhauled, and transformed into a basic focal point of religious, social and social life.
It also transformed into center for the revived Belarusian Greek Catholic Church.
