The Tomb of prophet Noah Azerbaijani: Nuh pey??mb?r türb?si or Noah’s Mausoleum is a mausoleum in the city of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. Architecture of the construction is dated from the eighth century. According to Armenian lifestyle, Noah’s tomb is located inside the city of Nakhchivan. Nineteenth century Russian and European sources inclusive of the Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary and John Foster Fraser noted that the nearby Armenians taken into consideration it a holy vicinity. The modern-day mausoleum become constructed in 2006. The tomb consists of stays of the lower storey of a former temple.
There is a ladder leading to a burial vault. There is a stone column within the middle of the vault. According to legend, relics of Noah are below this column. A portrait describing the mausoleum of Noah a hundred years ago painted through Bahruz Kangarli is stored within the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan.
