About Beylagan
Beylagan is a rayon of Azerbaijan, with capital town being Beylagan. Beylagan district turned into based on November 24, 1939 and called Jdanov at some stage in 1939 - 1963 period. In 1963 Beylagan district was liquidated and merged with the Imishli district. The name of the district become renamed Beylagan with reference to the 1989 dated decree of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan SSR. Center of the district is Beylagan metropolis where were given town repute in 1966. The district consists of normal forty two settlements which include one town, 16 settlements and 25 villages. Beylagan district is controlled via overall 37 municipalities. Ganja – Lankaran and Baku Fuzili subways pass through the district. There is mentioned the call of the district in a diverse historical books. One of them “Roads and Countries” is written by using Naila Valikhanli.
