The Augustinian Church

This Church is situated in Vienna is a territory church arranged on Josefsplatz, by the Hofburg, the winter château of the Habsburg line in Vienna.

The official name of chapel and ward in St. Augustin, yet it is locally called Augustinerkirche.
It was the sight of the weddings between the future Empress Maria Theresa and Francis of Lorraine, Marie Louise of Austria and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Emperor Franz Joseph I and Elisabeth of Baia.

The congregation is likewise home to the Herzguft of Chapel of Hearts. It is internment chamber with 54 urns contains the hearts of individuals from the House of Habsburg. At the season of my visit, the Gerzgruft was not open to guests.
