Salzburg Residence

Salzburg Residenz is a castle situated at Domplatz and Residenzplatz in the memorable focus of Salzburg, Austria. Development started under Archbishop Conrad I, when he migrated his living arrangement from St Peter's Abbey to its present site near Salzburg Cathedral. The religious administrator's royal residence went up against its present Renaissance appearance under the support of Archbishop Wolf Dietrich Raitenau in the vicinity of 1587 and 1612, presumably as per plans composed by the Italian planner Vincenzo Scamozzi.
