About Museum of Tyrolean Farms
The Museum of Tyrolean Farms is an open-air museum in Kramsach, Austria. As at 2009 the museum had around 30 ancient farmsteads and different historical rural homes as well as their related barns, sheds, alms and storehouses. In 1974 the Museum of Tyrolean Farms Society was founded with the intention of transporting farmhouses normal of North, South and East Tyrol, collectively with all their homes and system, to a website of about 8 hectares and rebuilding them there. The prototype turned into open-air museums in Scandinavia, as an instance the Skansen in Stockholm founded in 1891.
Initially the variety of farmhouses turned into 14; whilst the museum is complete there might be 50 individual museum presentations. The museum farms are arranged along a valley that broadly represents the geographical situation of Tyrol. The farms are open and accessible and a number of them are traditionally supplied and ready. In every farm there's an in depth description of its creation, age and original region.
