Now an exhibition hall, Mozart's origination acquaints guests with the early existence of the arranger, his first melodic instruments, his companions, and his enthusiastic enthusiasm for the musical show. The third floor displays Mozart's youth violin and additionally pictures, archives, and early versions of his music, and the second floor is dedicated to Mozart's enthusiasm for the musical show and incorporates the clavichord on which he made The Magic Flute.

The structure is claimed by the Mozart Foundation. The house was worked in the twelfth century on a ground which had been a piece of the garden having a place with the Benedictine priests of St Peter's, Salzburg. Otto Keutzel, a vendor, is said as the proprietor in 1408 while Chunrad Froschmoser, the court pharmacist, bought the property in 1585. On the entryway, the wound serpent in the lion's mouth, the image of Asclepius, still vouches for his possession. In 1703, the house came into the responsibility for Hagenauer family who had touched base in Salzburg around 1670. Particularly they included Joseph Matin Hagenauer and Johann Laurenz Hagenauer who turned into Mozart's landlord.
