About Hoher Dachstein
It is an immovably karstic Austrian mountain, and the second most amazing mountain in the Northern Limestone Alps.
Parts of the massif similarly lie in the territory of Salzburg, inciting the mountain being suggested as the Drei-Lander-Berg .
The Dachstein massif covers a zone of around 20×30 km with numerous tops more than 2,500 m, the most shocking of which are in the southern and south-western areas.
Seen from the north, the Dachstein massif is administered by the ice sheets with the harsh summits climbing past them.
By separate, around the south, the mountain drops vertically to the valley floor.
