The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes you on a journey through the pristine rainforest north of Cairns, which is a World Chronicle. In the glass cabin you fly with up to six people over the treetops, Barron Gorge and then down the rainforest. The cable car is 7.5 kilometers long and the journey there and back takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

The Skyrail begins and ends at Caravonica Terminal, about fifteen minutes drive from Cairns. The second stop, Red Peak Station, located deep in the rainforest. When you get here, you can follow a short trail along the ferns and palms. The signs along the trail provides information on the surrounding ecosystem.
