About The Nut
On Tasmania's northwest drift, the Nut is a 143 m high volcanic fitting that weavers the pleasant legacy town of Stanley. Matthew Flinders, who saw it in 1798, thought it was reminiscent of a Christmas cake with its precarious adjusted sides and level best. Tourists can climb the lofty way to the Pinnacle, which takes around 15 minutes, or bounce on board a chairlift for awesome photograph openings.
At the best, trails of shifting lengths lead guests through plant bordered backwoods and to picturesque posts with 360-degree perspectives of the bending coastline, the curious villa of Stanley, and encompassing farmland. Search for pademelons and wallabies along the trails, and take a coat as the best can be very breezy.
