About Mildura Station Homestead
Mildura Station Homestead is placed in Mildura. The original domicile on the banks of the Murray river and established in 1847, have been in a nation of disrepair for decades before it turned into eventually demolished in 1923. The Mildura and District Historical Society later endorsed that a undertaking be built, because of the historic importance of the site. The authentic land plot was not vacant, and so the closest viable function was chosen for the exercise approximately 200 meters downstream.
The paintings began inside the 1970’s and become officially opened in 1984. The station consists of the cottage, wool-shed, diverse outbuildings, a rose garden, and lots of actual farm gadget. It truely does feel like the “actual thing”. Inside the cottage, there are shows of antique pictures, clippings, and prints to help you build a picture of what existence here was like within the mid to overdue 19th century. This may be very stunning tourist spot.
