About Yarvand Kochar Museum

Ervand "Kochar" Kocharyan is also called Yervand Kochar. It was a noticeable stone worker and current craftsman of the twentieth century and an organizer of Painting in Space workmanship development. The museum showcases works created throughout Kochar’s career, including Lonely Woman, painted in 1913 when he was only 13.

The Yervand Kochar Museum is situated in Yerevan, Armenia and features a lot of his work. Kochar was conceived in Tiflis, Russian Empire on June 15, 1899, to Simon Kocharian of Shushi and Pheocia Martirosyan and graduated in 1918 from Nersisian School and between 1915-1918, likewise learned at the Arts School of the Caucasus Association for Promotion of Fine Arts in Tbilisi.
