About Mother Armenia
Mother Armenia is a female exemplification of Armenia. Her most open visual rendering is an amazing statue in Victory Park disregarding the capital city of Yerevan, Armenia. The current statue replaces a grand statue of General Secretary Joseph Stalin that was made as a triumph remembrance for World War II. Amid Stalin's rule of the Soviet Union, Grigor Harutyunyan, the primary secretary of the Armenian Communist Party's Central Committee and individuals from the administration directed the development of the landmark which was finished and divulged to the general population on November 29, 1950. The statue was viewed as a perfect work of art of the stone worker Sergey Merkurov.
The platform was planned by draftsman Rafayel Israyelian. Understanding that involving a platform can be a fleeting honor, Israyelian outlined the platform to take after a three-nave basilica Armenian Church, as he admitted numerous years after the fact "Realizing that the brilliance of tyrants is brief, I have constructed a straightforward three-nave Armenian basilica". As opposed to one side calculated states of the outside view, the inside is light and satisfying to the eye and looked like Echmiadzin's seventh-century St. Hripsime Church. It is one of the famous historical place in this city.
