Etchmiadzin Cathedral
About Etchmiadzin Cathedral
Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, situated in the city of Vagharshapat Etchmiadzin, Armenia. As indicated by researchers it was the main house of God worked in old Armenia, and is viewed as the most seasoned basilica on the planet.
The first church was worked in the mid-fourth century—in the vicinity of 301 and 303 as per custom—by Armenia's supporter holy person Gregory the Illuminator, following the appropriation of Christianity as a state religion by King Tiridates III. It supplanted a prior sanctuary, symbolizing the transformation from agnosticism to Christianity. It is one of the great place.
