Historical Museum Victor Miguez

Historical Museum Victor Miguez is the ancient estate houses one of the most beautiful museums in the entire Province of Buenos Aires.

In the year 1967, Intendant of Mercedes Mr. Juan Carlos Uncal Donelly has discussions with Miss Sofía Amelia Miguez Souza; whose outcome implies the gift to the Municipality of the working of the family home and contiguous grounds.

There is built up a Museum of the city that bears the name of his dad and an Educational Center.Miss Miguez passed on in August 1972 and by a setup proviso, the Municipality it needed to indicate the ownership and putting into the activity of both the Museum and the Educational Institute.

It was the obligation of Mr. Alfredo Bani - Mercedes occupant, around then - to get the gift and clean and condition the products got.
