About Cerro de la Gloria
It is a little mount situated in the city of Mendoza, Argentina, at the General San Martín Park. It includes a colossal dedication landmark to the Army of the Andes at the best. The landmark is crafted by Uruguayan stone worker Juan Manuel Ferrari, alongside the Argentines Juan Carlos Oliva Naro. It was started in 1911, as a major aspect of the festivals of the Argentina Centennial of 1910.
It was initiated on February 12, 1914, a commemoration of the Battle of Chacabuco. It highlights at its main a symbolic portrayal of Freedom or the Republic with broken chains, and an equestrian statue of San Martin, with the engraving "La Patria al Ejército de los Andes".
