Catedral Benedictina

The Benedictine Monks of Santa María de la Asunción are a urban ascetic group; since 1954 we possess our cloister in the area of Zúñiga in the district of Envigado, on the fringe with the region of Medellín. In its beginnings and for a long time it was a semi-country cloister, all things considered was where it was built up and the socio-social character of the quick environment. The urban advancement brought radical changes. Presently the religious group lives in a local location encompassed by flat structures. Since the establishment of the religious community, the priests have as need concentrate to the Benedictine College Santa María. Ascetic people group and instructive establishment share a similar property where the offices of the College and the House of the priests are found.
