About Caraffa Fine Arts Museum

The Emilio Caraffa Provincial Fine Arts Museum is a craftsmanship gallery in Cordoba, Argentina. The organization was built up as the Provincial Fine Arts Museum by the Province of Cordoba, which charged German Argentine draftsman Juan Kronfuss for its plan, in 1915. Based on the western edge of the recently introduced Sarmiento Park, crafted by Neoclassical engineering was finished in 1916, and initially included 255 m² and one display corridor, the Kronfuss Salon. The Provincial Museum was renamed to pay tribute to neighborhood craftsman Emilio Caraffa, in 1950, and new wings finished in 1962 and 2007 brought the historical center's show region to 1,500 m², dispersed among nine display lobbies.
Beside those of its namesake, the exhibition hall keeps up works of art and figures by other prestigious nearby specialists, for example, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Pablo Curatella Manes, Fernando Fader, Emilio Pettoruti, Lino Enea Spilimbergo, and in addition lithographs by Pablo Picasso and compositions by Tsuguharu Foujita and Francisco Goya. The historical center likewise has transitory displays and incorporates the common craftsmanship chronicle and rebuilding workshop, and in addition a library and instructive offices.
