About Saint Michael Fortress
It was a Portuguese post worked in Luanda, Angola. Sao Miguel stronghold was worked in 1576 by Paulo Dias de Novais. It turned into the managerial focus of the settlement in 1627 and was a noteworthy outlet for slave activity to Brazil. Until 1975, the post filled in as the home office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Portuguese Armed Forces in Angola.
