Takhemaret

Takhemaret is a town and commune in Tiaret Province in north-western Algeria, approximately sixty five km. Southwest of the metropolis of Tiaret. The 2008 census population turned into 34,124 within the commune, with 20,827 inside the metropolis. During Roman empire it was named Cohors Breucorum, a "castrum" near the Roman limes in Mauretania Caesariensis. Mauretania Caesariensis turned into a Roman province located in what's now Algeria inside the Maghreb.
