About Serta Museum
The Museum was opened to the public on 15 April 1931 under the name of the Museum of Qustaf Maris, the Secretary-General of the Society of Antiquities and retained the name until 05 July 1975 and was replaced by the name of the Creta Museum relative to the historical name of the city of Constantine and in 1986, National museums became the National Museum Cirta Constantine, the current name is the National Public Museum Cirta.
